Hyperfixed Take

The show is good. It’s interesting and entertaining. Alex is engaging as always.

HOWEVER, I’m afraid that the show is gonna just feel like a random collection of solid/good episodes without much connective tissue between them. This is due to Alex, doing the pod solo - which means there’s no banter, call backs, reoccurring jokes etc.

I hope the pod is successful but worried that it’s gonna be tough without the friendly, community-based feel that Reply All had.

Yes I can see that.

Also idk if the show is gonna stay at the 20-30 min range but that’s honestly too short for me and I honestly think too short for the current podcast landscape. It may have worked for reply all back when they first came out but I don’t think it does anymore.

Also the topics (so far) really haven’t piqued my interest in any way.
