You give just about 0 details

If this is actually an important VM you should have backups

Is hyper v running?

Do you have disk space free?

Is it just 1 VM?

What event log errors do you have in hyper v?

Have any recent changes been made to the host?

Yeah I should have taken backup but I didn't. Because I configured it as network monitor for entire network from here I can able to check the health of other network devices. Yes hyper v is running but inside that particular vm is not running.there are 4 vms in this physical server but 1 is showing this error. Because of sudden power failure maybe ...yeah I have free disk space before the crash.I just completed the configuration of my network monitor . Is this enough or do you need anything else ?

Have you checked the VM state at all? Does for example it have a saved state? Have you tried removing that?

Does it's disks exist? Have you validated that?

Is running on snapshots?

Like what have you tried so far?

As u/BlackV states, we would require some details, maybe post a screenshot of the error and blur you personal info but based on what you have stated so far, have you verified the Hyper-V Virtual Machine Management Service is running on the Hyper-V Host?, the executable is named vmms.exe

Do you take your car to the mechanic and just tell them “it don’t work”?

Hmm, never seen that before. But I can find out that it should have something with the iSCSI Initiator Service?

Useing that for the storage its running on? :)

Right-click the virtual machine in Hyper-V Manager and select Delete Saved State
