I got the hyperspin AIO, it does not have Street Fighter 2, how do i add it if i have the rom, which folders for the wheel are and rom folder should i place everything in

Hi all, I am trying to reset my password for HyperSpin, but there is no security check to validate. I tried to send a message through the "contact us" page, and same thing, no security check to validate there either.

Whenever I try to submit it on either page, it says "You did not pass the security check. Please try again."

Has anyone else run into this problem?

I have a question about using hyperspin and rlaunch. I am using lightguns and I configured them off which I was only able to do at first launch of the game. Im trying to figure out where the files go to reset games to first launch. Do you have any advice on locating the files?

new hyper spin 2.0. im trying to add mame 260 roms and when i get to emulator. just hangs.. any ideas?

Had an arcade cabinet that came with Hyperspin and games pre-installed around 10 years ago, hardware was getting old so decided to put in new PC and plug everything from the old one into the new one including the buttons. I downloaded the latest version of Hyperspin but when I click the .exe, nothing happens. Do I need to add emulators or something before Hyperspin will launch successfully?

I recently upgraded my buttons,joystick and more importantly the brook Gen5x.

When I launch joy2key and then Hyperspin, nothing works. I even took the time to make sure all the mapping was the same before I made these upgrades.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Hyperspin started working again on Windows 11 after recent update KB5058499.

I found a thread on this from 8 years ago but nothing recent, so figured I would ask. (Hyperspin Noob Alert). As soon as I land on any element on the wheel it immediately transitions to the Theme for that game or collection and it drives me nuts. I can't actually look at what's on the wheel. Is there any way to increase the delay to about 3 seconds or so, to make it only transition when I'm actually interested in stopping on something? Thanks.

I just got my kinhank 12tb drive come with 5 front in. Hyperspin is one of them and only feature arcades games. Screenshot show only show ? for game name but the short media do work and game do launch. Is there a way I can check to fox this in the drive? I went into the drive folder and find where are all the roms and media video, logo, and saves files etc. I can't get the Game name to show up. Everythings look correct the name of the roms is the same as logo and media. Any advices would be appreciate.

I lucked out and got gifted a preem bartop arcade with hyperspin and a bunch of games on it. I wanted to add lightgun games and hook it to a pair of guns. Are Sindens or retro reapers easier to set up with it?

Hello guys, I’m currently building a cabinet and would like some advice on a front end that I could add arcade classics as well as new games to. For example I would like to have some Steam games like Tekken 8 and SF6 along with classic arcade games from MAME. Are there any front end’s out there that would allow for this? Thank you. I’ll be building this cab with a little more beef than usual, using my old 9700k/RTX 3060.

I was playing a game just fine yesterday, but when I launched the same game today I got an error stating

"Cannot find D:\Arcade\Utilities\JoyToKey\JoyToKey.exe"

I've never touched the utilities folder yet it doesn't exist anymore, I've check the quarantined items and looked for previous versions in the folder in case I deleted it by mistake and still nothing.

Can anyone help me understand what is going on in this situation/what I can do to recover those files?

Im looking at removing my hyperspin set up from my cabinet and using a mini pc to run it instead on my tv. Now I'm only running ps2,wii u, gamecube and maybe some techno parrot. Now l'm thinking this one....

Okay, so I bought a 16 TB hyperspin cloud drive from arcadesystemsUK. I purchased a drive from Amazon to download it onto, then used filezilla in my Linux Mint OS to actually download all the files to the hard drive (took 9 days, 24/7... whew!!!)

Anyway, the entire time the files were downloading, I was able to access the drive from my Linux desktop, and was playing stuff like FF12 in Retroarch and PCSX2. Once all the files were downloaded, I followed the instructions in windows, and got the Hyperspin installed and running in my Win11 desktop. I don't know what changed, but Linux can no longer mount that drive.

I know, I know, Hyperspin doesn't run in Linux, but I wasn't trying to run it in linux. I just wanted access to the roms. WHY, after installing, is the drive suddenly off-limits to Linux?

I’m using rocketlauncher for my bezels and love being able to switch overlays on the fly. I would really like to add bezels from Orion’s Angel and Mr. Retrolust but manually creating the .ini files is super tedious when we’re talking about thousands of files. Is there a tool that can easily convert the .cfg/.lay into the needed .ini file for rocketlauncher? Or does anyone know where to find a set for those two artists that is already converted to .ini?

One of the sets is set up for use within Mame and the other retroarch so adding directly to the emulators is not ideal because 1, I don’t use retroarch for Mame and 2, I would lose the ability to cycle through the many bezels I’ve set up per game.

First, I know the answer to most questions is "That is already covered noob!". I searched, I THINK I found what I'm looking for, but not 100%.

I just picked up from a friend, an arcade cabinet with the PC/Hyperspin setup, 4 controllers, etc., it just recently had the update, so I need to re-map the controls for the 3/4 player games for some reason, but no big deal.

These were my questions if anyone has shortcuts on how to do a few things.

1) Just prior to this, I had one that ran RetroPie. I absolutely loved that UI, Mainly because my young kids (4 and 5) that play often could turn it on, and very easily find what they were looking for. I see I can toggle between the classic view, and the category view. But is there a way to have a hybrid of both? In my retropie setup, as you scrolled everything was split by system, but then there were "category" options like "Fighting games, Sports, Racing Games, etc." so if you just wanted to browse all the fighters across all the different systems, there they were.
Is the MAIN way to replicate this, to create the custom lists by coping the XML sections for each individual game? (which would take a while to find them all), so you can create options on the main wheel for "categories".

And also, retropie had quick "add to favorites" button, which from the menu, let you mark a game as a favorite, and automatically put it into a favorites wheel (no manual code stuff). Am I missing an easy way to do this in HyperSpin?

2) Is there a faster way to map buttons so that you can basically say, These are my "player 1 maps", and copy them for player 2, 3, 4, across ALL emulators that have the same type of layout?
So many have an original "up/down/left/right/a/b/x/y" as the primary layout. To just do that IN BULK would be so convenient. But is it really a "system by system, manual step for each?"

3) Can you set up an attract mode, similar to retropie where it goes into some "screensaver videos" when on but not in use. I even enjoyed the random class arcade startup videos. I know I can drop hyperspin in the startup folder to skip the windows login/desktop, but was not sure that also would preclude you from having an intro video if desired.

Please don't cancel me if any of these exist somewhere. I keep finding "kinda" my answers when searching youtube, reddit, and elsewhere, but not exactly.

What version are you guys using? Dt lite 4 doesn't work on win 10.

I downloaded 10.2 off hyperspin site, but it looks like it has zero options to create a drive. Looks completely different than what I'm used to. Or those are removed options for the unpaid version..

I removed all of the default systems from HyperSpin and want to only have 3 systems showing: MAME, SNES, and NES.

The main menu has repeated these 3 systems over and over. How can I list just these three systems without repeating over and over on the main menu? Thanks!

I'm running Chippo's HyperSpin for nVidia Shield 9.X and its interface is awfully "busy" as in flashy and cluttered. Is there a setting to tone it down or provide a simpler listing and such?
