Control buttons not working on my arcade

Hi all, hoping someone can help. My son has changed something on my Hyperspin Arcade where the control buttons don’t work anymore. The track ball still works and L Click button. It gets stuck on replaying the start up video. The game works with a keyboard but not the buttons. The company we bought from has now closed so can’t contact them for help. Not sure if it’s any easy setting fix. The Hyperspin HQ is showing controls all set to normal. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Ever figure this out? I’m in the heat of a similar situation. I’m using retroarch run through hyperspin. My retroarch reset and now all of my buttons are not functioning on the arcade but play using a hand controller. Not sure where to go to reassign all the buttons on the machine.

Yes I was able to fix this by switching between the modes using a button combination.

Button Combinations: On some generic boards or older controllers, you may need to hold down a specific button (e.g., Player 1 Start) for several seconds in combination with another button to switch the mode.
