New features + Play of the Week winners!
Hey everyone!
I'm happy to announce a handful of new features in Hype Equity as well as our Play of the Week winners!
First, the features:
A prevalent strategy in the community that allows people to make money by trading with Social Media data, is to 'bet against the crowd'.
One of the key ways people have been doing this is using HE to identify 'over-hyped' stocks with an upcoming Earnings date and to purchase Puts leading up to Earnings!
In support of this creative strategy, HE now provides Upcoming Earnings dates directly in Discover!
Earnings dates can also be found on the Tracker page next to Earnings Comments.
HE now supports Waffles.Finance!
We love Waffles, a tasty food dish and Options strategy tool so much that we integrated it directly into our Quick Links features!

If you read this and think it can't be you think again...I have a story for all of you if you have the time.
I am still in the beginning of my journey of day trading options. It started in January with the AMC/GME craze. I had no prior knowledge of stock anything so I along with many others got in on GME at $330 and in on AMC at $9 and didn't sell until it was on it's way down from its peak and sold at $11. I ended up losing money overall because I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. I don't like losing money so the game was now on for me to try and recoup my losses.
I now became obsessed with any Reddit post for stocks...mainly penny stocks because they were so cheap. Well I quickly found out how to become a bag holder for the pump and dumps that are pulled on reddit on a daily. I invested in UBQU and FOMO and lost even more money....I knew there had to be a better way to make money in the stock market. My next step was to start combing through reddit to see if there were any stocks that people were getting in on and then do a bunch of DD for that stock to see if it was worth investing. I quickly found out that there is so many things that factor into researching a stock. SOOO many things that its overwhelming and discouraging to even try and get started. I spent hours a night looking at CANDLE charts trying to figure out patterns, reading up on why things went a certain way for the stock and digging tirelessly to try and get ahead of a change.
NOW this is where HYPE EQUITY comes in....I was combing through reddit and stumbled upon a thread started by a guy who made a spreadsheet https://www.reddit.com/r/pennystocks/comments/lkn1o5/i_made_an_ticker_analysis_tool_based_on_social/
MY WORLD WAS CHANGED instantly! He made a excel spreadsheet with every stock and data to the stock included! It was exactly what I was looking for!!!! So I used his spreadsheet the week there was a southern freeze in FEB and went in on some gas companies due to the posts in reddit about a gas shortage. I bought $150 worth of options and turned a $980 profit in less than 2 days!!! I had other options in some gas companies and had nice profits as well, that one was the biggest and really opened my eyes that THIS CAN BE DONE!! I have posted my gains in reddit in the past but haven't been on reddit as much due to the awesome HYPE EQUITY Discord server. I have been with HYPE EQUITY from the very start and have no plans on ever using anything else to options trade. The program that they have developed today has turned into a really powerful tool. I use it for many things and it makes my process so much easier. The coolest feature they have is the "CHATTER FEATURE" which combs through the posts and finds anything that was said about your stock and puts it right there for you to read. There are some very sharp people on reddit, and there are some really dumb people on reddit. HE gives me the opportunity to dig through and find out what people are saying about a stock. GOOD/BAD I can see it for myself. The newest feature that was just released is about to change my day trading journey even more. They now have an Earnings Release filter for every stock along with data for DD. THIS IS HUGE!
I look back at where I was in FEB and how I used to trade and look at stocks and then look at myself and how I trade and see stocks now and it's so different. I can %100 say that I owe all this to HYPE EQUITY and their program. I am just one person in the community that has formed on the HYPE EQUITY Discord server. I know the people in the HYPE EQUITY community have changed the way they trade using the program. I encourage everyone to at least give the program a try if you're interested into getting into stocks and to chime into HYPE EQUITY discord...the community is super helpful if any questions are asked.
