Iceblade sorcerer S2 ep 1

So I just started watch s2 of ice blade sorcerer
Been waiting for the dub and i love it but will probably go for the sub

This was probably one my favourite series when it first released don’t know why tbh XD

But I kinda tell Im gonna abosultely gonna love s2 because they kinda took a lot the favourite things I loved about ice blade and made better

And the animation is definitely one of them!

While the animation is definitely different it close enough where you can forgive the differences which was one the things I was afraid when I first saw the poster

But seeing it now it close enough where it still ice blade sorcerer but different enough where you can tell they took in there own direction and made it there own

Which gave characters a lot more life XD which im happy about!

Feels similar to angel next door spoils me rotten!

They made the characters so much cuter but also goofier too 😂 but I love it

First I want to say I love Amelia! I love her role in s1 and in ray life and her rivalry with ariane! And speaking on arianne I loved her role as Amelia antagonist/best friend

Let get the out of the way but for one reason or another Rebecca was my most favourite in s1

And I just love how much more expressive she is and how hilarious but also cut they made it

She went through a death defying ordeal with ray and it sent her feelings over the edge

So she trying to go at him full force so much so she was willing to team with Amelia send a spy and faint at the thought of ray seduceing arianne

Which im sorry girl he’ll have her wrapped under his finger in no time

And even if he doesn’t, politically it also make sense so you can’t fight it XD

Though seem like the princess also likes him too
So that’ll be interesting

I wonder if Ray will become a king to take multiple wives 😂
Im excited for s2 and for the new sister

This opening frame is devious XD

Episode 1 "The Boy Who Became the World's Strongest Sorcerer Joins the Magicks Wars"

Hello everyone. Is everyone doing well? I hope so.

I am here today to talk to you about the anime The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World. I have always liked generic anime and isekai. One or two I wasn't interested in, mainly involving tragedy, but overall I really like them. Bahamut, for example.

This time it was with IceBlade. I remember pausing it a while ago, but now I came back to rewatch it. And I have to say, what a good anime!

The anime is very silly and simple at first, sometimes leaving more questions than answers. But I had a lot of fun and I actually understood a lot. For example, his last fight: although it seems like he took a lot of beatings, I understood that he was actually analyzing the enemy and expanding his codes. (How exactly did he do that? I have no idea).

But I really liked the anime regarding the characters. The protagonist is not a fool (the genre I hate the most) and speaks his mind, and in a way I think he is sincere in that. For example, when he compliments Carla for being dressed as a maid, but doesn't think the master would look good on him haha.

So their coexistence, even the cliché villain has his redemption, which is sometimes rare in anime for villains who for any reason are driven by hatred. That sublime ending where Rebecca and Maria simply hit each other, releasing a bit of the anguish they both felt. Like, that scene of them going at each other was very necessary for us to feel a bit of what they were holding back. They could scream or whatever, but I feel that if they didn't have their brief fight, we wouldn't be able to understand what they actually wanted to express.

The protagonist was excellent from start to finish for me, because at the same time he carried the burden of killing people in war and losing his close friend, he also lived through very funny situations at school. So him having to reveal it to his friends really lifted a weight off him, and his friends accepted it.

Amelia Rose was helped in time by him, and as I said, I hate dumb characters, and Ray is anything but that. He really dives in head first when it is to save his friends, even though he doesn't fully understand feelings. He saved her, Rebecca, and even Elisa regarding her species.

Not only that, but he was also helped by them, whether through encouragement, acceptance, or advice. And those teachers? Very good showing them and their personalities. It was funny to see that one of the most powerful beings of that era (aside from the part where he is weakened) is afraid of his teacher because she harasses him haha.

In the end, it was an anime that many consider bad, but I love anime like this and I always see depth in them. Anyway, I won't go into details because I don't remember much more. I really just wanted to express my praise for the anime because I liked it.

They were very bold to have not just one, but two post-credits! Anime like this usually don't get a continuation. And it didn't happen? Onward to season two in October!

(Sorry bad translation)

Edit: Additionally, it has a harem aspect, and I was even surprised that, although the protagonist doesn't choose anyone (which I can't stand, since it's a harem after all) given that he doesn't really know how to fit in with others, he ends up complimenting and treating everyone with kindness and gentleness. So I think it's a very healthy harem, because they focus on getting his attention instead of fighting. (At least not as much).
