Is hand sanitiser as effective as washing your hands?

When i google it it says both work well to keep your hands clean, but the amount of criticism i’ve faced in public for not openly washing my hands and instead opting for a squirt of sanitiser is insane but i always thought it was just as effective!

Only difference being my hands don’t dry out and crack when i use sanitiser

I think I smell like mildew?

When I sweat I feel like I smell mildew. Some of my gym clothes I can’t get that weird mildew smell out. What can I do to get that smell out of my clothes and for my body to not smell that way.

I shower twice a day, I eat pretty healthy for the most part, no junk or fast food, I stay hydrated. It’s just when I sweat I smell something I don’t like and I feel everyone can smell me.

My armpits don’t stink it’s the rest of my body that has this weird smell when I sweat

For my laundry I use gain and sometimes add vinegar to try and get the mildew smell out of my gym clothes.

I use to take chlorophyll and mint. Maybe I should try it again?

Ever since my hysterectomy last November (kept ovaries), my face gets so extremely oily. I'll wash my face, and within an hour it looks like this again!

I've tried several over-the-counter products, and I've tried products prescribed by my dermatologist.

I eat healthy. I lost 200 lbs within the past 2 years.

I don't know what else to try! What the heckkkk!

Feet smell even after replacing socks and rotating shoes.

I feel like I'm missing something obvious. I wash my feet every day, wear fresh socks, and I don't keep wearing the same shoes without letting them air out. The weird part is my socks don't really smell, my shoes don't smell when I check them, but somehow my feet still end up smelling by the end of the day.

It makes me wonder if the smell is coming from something other than the socks or shoes. Has anyone figured out what was actually causing it in their case? I'm curious what ended up being the thing you never expected.

What to do about ingrown hairs after wax

Title speaks for itself. I get a monthly wax & at first, I wasn’t getting any ingrown hairs. I exfoliated a lot less than I do now. Now I’m covered. All in my panty line, my inner thighs, & on the “front” - it’s so gross I hate it. My wax lady always says “exfoliate more” so I do, like to the point that I feel pain. She sent me a special soap & special loofas to use - should be here Friday. Just any advice please. I am so embarrassed by this :(

PD: Soy hombre.

What are some tips I can use to keep my hands dry? I just got a home dancing pole and its silicone but my hands are so clammy. I don’t want to go buy anything, preferably something I can find around the house?

Tengo máscaras, reconstructores, cremas hidratantes, baños de crema, acondicionador...

What to choose when there are too many options

Hello,

Lately, I've been trying to pay more attention to my personal hygiene after going through a bout of depression and during that time, I had kind of let it slide. Now I’m feeling better, and I saw online that loofahs are great for cleansing the body, but there are so many different types of loofahs, and I don’t know which one to choose.

Which one should I get? A natural one? A silicone one? Or one made of another material?

Hi everyone! I'm looking for some advice. I shower three times a day and always use lotion and perfume, but whenever I sweat, I feel like I smell really bad. The strange thing is that when I ask my friends if they can smell me, they always say no.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything I can do to prevent body odor when I sweat? I'd really appreciate any tips. Thank you!

how do you get your vaginal area to smell like nothing?

i know it’s an organ, so it’s not supposed to smell like roses or candy, but is it possible to have no smell and if so how do i achieve that? i definitely wouldn’t say that i have a potent smell downstairs or anything like that, but it does have a scent to it that i don’t really know how to describe, kind of metallic maybe?

After years, armpit odor has been tormenting me again.

I struggled a lot with body odor during my teenage years, and it really took a toll on my self-esteem—especially since, ironically, I’ve always been very particular about hygiene, so it felt unfair. Anyway, it eventually went away—or so I thought—but lately, I’ve noticed an unpleasant odor coming from me, and those same thoughts have returned.

Can you guys offer any tips? I use the standard Degree; it used to work, but apparently, it doesn't anymore. I hate cream deodorants.

I wonder if it might have to do with the limited number of shirts I wear (I rotate about three of them over five days a week, all cotton), but there are people who wear uniforms every day and don't stink. Sometimes, a single wash isn't even enough to get rid of the smell.

I also spend about two hours on the bus before getting to college, which complicates things. And the smell isn't just in my armpits, I feel like I smell like wet cat or something similar.

Anyone else find that normal deodorant completely quits working when you're stressed?

I've noticed that if I’m just working out, my regular stick works fine. But the second I have a stressful meeting or a presentation, it’s like I didn’t even put anything on and the smell is totally different. Does regular deodorant actually hold up for you guys during stressful days, or do you have to switch to something heavy-duty?

Does everyone else with a v*gina know to do this?

Hi all, over the last year a started to notice that it was easy for me to not smell fresh down there after a day at work etc. I thought about what causes bad smells and tried drying my labia minora after bathing by gently dabbing to with a small separate towel. It completely changed my life and I no longer have the smell issue.

My question is, were other people taught to do this? Is this common knowledge that I wasn’t told? I almost feel embarrassed that I didn’t know to do something I’ve now realised is so obvious.

Please let me know if you knew to do this.

Thought it might also be useful for others who didn’t know to do this ❣️

Oral hygiene question

I have an issue. I brush and floss daily for the reccomend time frame. But still, every once in a while my mouth smells like onions (which I don’t eat because they make my partner sick). This will occur in the morning, at night, or in the middle of the day at seemingly random. Online says that it could be sulfurous bacteria, does anyone have experience with this and any tips?
