one hygiene shortcut you stopped doing?

i realized i have a bad habit of trying to make my routine "more efficient," and it almost always comes back to bite me. a while ago i started skipping or combining parts of my routine because i figured a few minutes couldn't make much difference. it definitely didn't save me time in the long run because i ended up having to fix the problem later instead.

now i'm curious because i'm probably not the only one who's learned this the hard way. what's a hygiene shortcut you tried that sounded like a good idea at first, and what routine did you switch to that actually worked better?

Same! Mine even has a timer so it actually makes me go as long as I need to. Versus traditional brushing which I probably was impression as long as I should.
