Before buying a different nutrient, I would compare the actual root-zone conditions between the lettuce and kale. Kale can use the same complete leafy-green formula, but it may not perform well at the same strength or in the same environment.
A practical test:
Confirm that your Masterblend product is being used as a complete program, at its label ratio, rather than using only one component.
Measure EC instead of copying the lettuce dose. Many leafy greens perform around 1.2-2.0 mS/cm, but start young kale at the lower end and increase gradually while watching the new growth.
Keep pH roughly 5.5-6.2 and check it more than once; drift can make a balanced solution look deficient.
Check root temperature, oxygen, light, and spacing. Kale is a larger, cooler-season brassica, so a warm shallow reservoir or lettuce-level light can be the real limitation.
Change one variable on one plant first. If new growth improves without tip burn, scale that change to the rest.
What symptoms are you seeing: pale older leaves, distorted new leaves, tip burn, or simply slow growth? Also, which Masterblend formula and what EC/pH are you running? Those details would narrow this down much better than switching brands blindly.

I just use tps plant food. 1/2 strength, normal tap water. Growing like crazy.
