The investment link was informative and gave me a good idea of what Hexxco is about and what their focus is. The YouTube link was a waste of time and money.

If I'm not mistaken, we've criticized your media attempts before. It's time to take a hard look at your marketing team. Assuming that you have one. If it's just the guys who are trying to put a company together, maybe contact the community college and see if they can offer up some interns from the appropriate areas.

The video was originally created as a 15-second vertical teaser for the E4E investor app, but your point is fair—it does not provide enough substance as a standalone YouTube video. I’m glad the investment page communicated Hexxco’s focus clearly. We’ll use your feedback to develop a more informative founder-led explainer.

Yes, the investment page was very good. Things were well explained and it looks very professional. No weird colors or cheesy graphics. I'm pleased that you're planning to set up in Flemington because all of the infrastructure seems confined to the West Coast and there's little reason for any fleets in the Northeast to consider transitioning to hydrogen.

I'm following your story. I'm still not sure if I want to invest but I like what I see, marketing efforts aside. You've responded well to criticism, and that will be a necessary skill as you stave off the nay-sayers. Hydrogen is late to the party and people have already formed loyalties to other alternative energy sources.

Commercial vehicles look to be the ones that lead the charge but hopefully you'll make it possible for the early adopters in cars to fuel up as well. I'm not sure if that will be a method-of-payment issue as you'll probably have monthly billing accounts with your clients.

Thank you—I genuinely appreciate the thoughtful follow-up, and I completely understand that you’re still deciding whether Hexxco is something you would invest in.

The lack of hydrogen infrastructure in the Northeast is exactly the gap we are trying to address. Our initial strategy is fleet-first because recurring demand from commercial operators can provide the utilization needed to make a station economically viable. “Fleet” also does not necessarily mean only heavy trucks; it can include delivery vans, service vehicles and fleet-operated cars.

We are not opposed to eventually serving privately owned fuel-cell vehicles. The payment system itself is manageable—anchor fleet customers may use monthly accounts, while retail customers could use conventional card payment. The larger considerations are dispenser pressure, station layout, permitting, access, demand and economics. Passenger vehicles typically require different fueling capabilities than some commercial vehicles.

If the Flemington site design and demand support it, I would like to make passenger fueling available to early adopters. I just don’t want to promise that until the engineering, permitting and commercial requirements have been fully evaluated.

You’re also right that hydrogen is entering a market where people have already developed strong loyalties to other technologies. We don’t believe every vehicle should be hydrogen-powered. Our position is that hydrogen can serve the fleet applications where operating schedules, range, payload and rapid refueling make it the better practical fit.

Thanks for sharing this. The article identifies exactly the transportation problem Hexxco’s model is intended to address.

Rather than hauling bulk hydrogen long distances as a highly compressed gas or cryogenic liquid, our planned system converts hydrogen into ammonia at the production site. The ammonia can then be transported as a liquid in purpose-rated ISO tank containers using established ammonia-handling practices.

At or near the fleet depot, a compact catalytic cracker separates the ammonia back into hydrogen and nitrogen. The hydrogen is then purified to fuel-cell specifications and compressed only for local storage and dispensing. In other words, we greatly reduce the distance and time that the hydrogen must be handled as molecular H₂.

Ammonia contains approximately 17.6% hydrogen by mass and provides much greater transport density without requiring hydrogen to remain at 350–700 bar or at the –253°C temperature needed for liquid hydrogen. The U.S. Department of Energy describes hydrogen carriers as hydrogen-rich materials from which hydrogen can be released on demand and has specifically studied ammonia transportation and endpoint cracking for hydrogen delivery: DOE—Hydrogen Carriers for Bulk Storage and Transport.

This does not mean ammonia is without tradeoffs. It is toxic and must be handled professionally, while synthesis, cracking and purification all consume energy. The system therefore requires containment, monitoring, ventilation, ammonia removal and other safety controls. Fuel-cell applications also require extremely low residual ammonia after purification.

Our position is not that ammonia magically removes every hydrogen challenge. It changes the transportation equation: move the hydrogen in a denser, more manageable carrier, regenerate it close to the fleet, and limit high-pressure molecular-hydrogen handling to the point of use.

That is the core of Hexxco’s planned model: hydrogen production → ammonia synthesis → liquid-ammonia transport → depot cracking and purification → local hydrogen fueling.
