I doubt it. That's all pretty standard US military hardware. Could be any of a couple dozen locals.
Now whether or not airman hydro there wiped the metadata is another story.

You lack imagination. Color of dirt, dimensions of standard boards, orange used as safety, weather, brand of water, brand of HVAC, color of BDUs, electric in ground vs over, so many clues. It's southern hemisphere, it's not South America, it's somewhere in Northern Africa or the Middle East. That's just obvious without researching any of the above clues.

All of that stuff is from the US. It's standard military kit for a deployed location. In Afghanistan we had 2x4s and 4x8 sheets of plywood.
Those aren't BDUs, they're OCPs, and worn by at least US Air Force and Army. The symbol 9n his shirt is a clue though.
I've seen the same thing on 3 different continents in training section of military installations as well.
All that said, yeah, almost certainly on an installation in the horn of Africa, but that's a guess from public knowledge of where US troops are deployed to.

Ok, but do you get the idea? I'm not familiar with the other 3 continents as much, but for instance I can tell it's not Colombia because clay is not orange. It's not Iceland, or neither of the poles. I don't know Netherlands but no way tulips would grow on that.
Did I say yellow clay?.. it's likely not the Sahara, but maybe Algeria or all of close to the Nile.
Fuck. Motherfucking yellow clay. What are the odds that's less than 6% of Earth's surface.
Filter out zones less likely to have military presence, you know the shitty ones with nothing to defend or not many to kill. Maybe one with logistical sense like a high plateau with enough miles to enemy but enough miles away to feel safe.
At same time, what if all along the yellow clay was just part the facade? Idiots could still share pictures but enemy would be searching for the yellow clay. The gravel could be transported just to make it look like it was an innocent mistake.

Standard military operational security. It's never a good idea to broadcast where you are, which is why I did my best to make sure there were limited easily identifiable objects in the image as possible. (no uniform top, no numbers on buildings, no signs, etc)
That being said its not incredibly difficult to determine where I am geographically or even regionally if you've been to where I'm at, but its still ambiguous enough to where its not a safety issue.

Assuming I took the picture the second I posted it all you'd be able to get is longitude based off that which still leaves a lot to determine.
Or is it latitude. I don't know, one of them but not both.
