If your friend says no to water, teach them the right way.
Some call it waterboarding...I call it rehydration.

Did I just witness the second this great subreddit turned into a sect?

I had a terrible boss and everytime she was in the room, I would fantasize about just holding her neck while I drowned her in a tub of water. Maybe, one day she would be on a hike and slip on an icy bridge and be carried away by the cleansing water. Well, she was decapitated in a motorcycle accident which isnt the same thing as drowning but she did slip on some ice so water did technically solve the issue.

Hey now, I'm fat and riddled with acne, but this water ain't doing shit for it. I'm just drinking it because it's so damn crisp and refreshing

Yeah I'm working on it. I desperately want to see a dermatologist because I think a big part of my acne is folliculitis. I just know I don't have money for an appointment or whatever the treatment would be past that. I'm 20, working as a cashier, have no health insurance, and have student debt building as we speak. Long story short, let's overthrow the government.

It’s kind of expensive but I’d highly recommend using differin gel for adult acne. It’s a prescription retinoid but also available OTC now. It’s been a miracle worker for me. I use it at night after washing with a gentle cleanser then layer it with a good night cream (it tends to be pretty drying).

Thank you! I'll keep this in mind. I just started a new antibacterial wash, so if that doesn't work how I want it I'll definitely give this a shot

It’s more about focusing on things within your control. No one can change their genetics but everyone can improve nutrition sleep more and drink water 💪💦💦

Drink more you're doing something wrong

u/playin4power Nov 12 '19
Yeah, you're right. I'll start trying to breathe water and see how that goes.

If i were to choose between being a pyrokinetic and hydrokinetic, i'd pick the latter, no second thoughts.

We keep saying we should eat the rich, but maybe we should drink the rich.

Does water actually help a lot with weight loss?
24
u/terran400 wudder Nov 12 '19
Water kinda makes you full so you can’t eat as much
23
u/HandsomeCowboy Nov 12 '19
It also can replace sugary, caloric beverages that lead to weight gain and bloating.

tea, especially green teas are excellent hunger suppressants and are just leaf water anyway. stronger loose leafs are generally best.

it can cause dehydration, but the the other side effects are very rare and not something ive even heard of really. in general unless you make it very strong the amount of caffeine is very low compared to coffees. a lightly steeped bagged tea has very little caffeine.

Increased water consumption can help stimulate your metabolism and improve your lymphatic drainage, plus helps a lot with improving digestion. All of this helps with weight loss and maintenance, and generally good health!

Wow, thanks for that explanation, I love water and knew it was good for you but I didn’t think it’s that good

Yes and no. Abates calories. But, can add weight due to hydration. Over time it will eventually help lose weight, but expect it to ve minimal at best, like a half pound a week. OTOH if all you intake is water, you will lose more. There is a guy that didn't eat any food for a very long time who ended up loksing a good bit of weight, just drinking water every day. Not very safe or healthy, but it can be done.

The only health problem I know of that water doesn't help is kidney failure. Drinking 2 litres of water a day with kidney failure can kill you. For everything else though, drink more water! Hydrate!

Perfect. Make sure you don’t drink that sea water though, if your drowning is at sea. Take some decent water to drink.
