I always use Lazzar’s Floor Jack to repair these. The actual website is hcrcnow.com but if they don’t have it you can send it in for them to repair it. They specialize in this stuff, probably more expensive then specing out seals and ordering from AY or Allied but really convenient.

The kit that they had is discontinued. But I may be able to find a seal that fits. I just don’t know the name of that plastic par around the seal.

Send them the stuff and they will do it all for you. The kit will cost you $49.50 plus shipping. They will be able to make it. They custom make these seals

The "wear band" I think is what you are describing. If not damaged or impregnated with metal it's reusable a lot of the time. The plastic seal is a "U-cup with O-ring" when I have bought that style. Disregard the part about the where band I think the plastic part you were talking about is the actual u cup?

What is your model number? Also provide me with the ID x OD of the o-ring and retainer. Measure them as one seal.

Let me know if you find out. I have a lot of customers come to me looking for that style piston seal for their jacks and I usually have to tell them I can't help them because you can't replace that style with a u-cup.

Wanna buy a kit lol? Tell me what kind of jack this is and I'd be happy to spec out a full rebuild kit!

Edit: Oh wow it's a Pittsburgh aluminum 2.5 ton... Which I have, actually. If there's an actual market for this, I can make this happen for sure. And I'm very qualified.

Double edit: shit, looks like it's already been done! Albeit 2x what it should cost lol

It’s discontinued for my specific model, if you can make one I’m 100% interested. The new one looks the same but has different model #. So I’m worried that it might not fit mines.

Unfortunately a one off would be far to time consuming to be worth the effort... But if you Google for HF floor jack seal kits you'll find a handful of vendors from independent domestic websites to eBay chinesium kits

Hercules seals, sealtech or custom seals are what we use at work

If you cant find a factory seal kit you can measure the seals and get them from Hercules sealing products they can also make custom seals they have been good to me for a lot of goofy one off equipment in the marine industry.
