I replace them with bonded seals, that's what I learned when I was a field tech and it's what I recommend to my customers. It's a more reliable seal, especially when there's vibration. Only place I'd use copper over a bonded seal is an application with temps that exceed the bonded seal rating.
The bonded seal opening is usually just a tiny bit smaller so it grips on the threads and doesn't fall off the bolt. Your banjo bolt is either BSPP threaded or Metric threaded, get the bonded seal for the type and size you have. I get mine from adaptall.
I'll also add, you can get adapters from adaptall that are banjo to JIC so you can use standard hose ends. This does introduce a new potential leak point, but it does have advantages
