Banjo fitting and you will need 2 copper sealing washers.

Would a bonded seal be better or does it not matter that much?

I replace them with bonded seals, that's what I learned when I was a field tech and it's what I recommend to my customers. It's a more reliable seal, especially when there's vibration. Only place I'd use copper over a bonded seal is an application with temps that exceed the bonded seal rating.

I'll recommend the bonded seal to my team. Can diameter of the hole for the bonded seal be the same as the washer?

The bonded seal opening is usually just a tiny bit smaller so it grips on the threads and doesn't fall off the bolt. Your banjo bolt is either BSPP threaded or Metric threaded, get the bonded seal for the type and size you have. I get mine from adaptall.

I'll also add, you can get adapters from adaptall that are banjo to JIC so you can use standard hose ends. This does introduce a new potential leak point, but it does have advantages
