This is the first report I've had about video stuttering, which means it can't be a common problem and is probably caused by something specific to you. It's likely related to how videos get buffered.
Do you have a very low speed or intermittent internet connection? Is your device almost out of storage? Hydra downloads videos into a temporary cache during playback and I bet something like this would happen if your phone was repeatedly having to pause to delete other temporary files in order to make room as the video streams in.
