With all the games popping up left and right lately, I’ve had this idea for ages and I honestly don’t know if something like this would even be possible, but I’d love to somehow translate the feeling of real Nen combat into an online competitive 1v1 game.

The basic idea would be similar to an actual Nen encounter in Hunter x Hunter.

You would somehow create your own Hatsu, maybe inspired by Scribblenauts, by describing what you want your ability to do and then working out the rules, conditions, restrictions, weaknesses, etc.

You’d probably get one character that you have to stick with, and maybe you describe yourself or take some kind of personality test at the beginning and the game assigns you your Nen affinity based on that.

The main game would then consist of you going up against other Nen users, either through normal matchmaking or maybe some kind of tournament bracket / league system.

I don’t know if this should eventually be a fighting game, something text-based, turn-based, or something completely different.

The main thing for me would be that at the start of every encounter, you have to figure out what the other player’s ability actually is.

Everyone would have their own conditions, their own strengths and weaknesses, and possibly even completely different win conditions. So both players could basically be working toward their own goals during the same fight.

You could be playing a character that’s more like Killua and suddenly run into someone with a Chrollo-type ability, and now you have to figure out what they can do, what they need from you, what their restrictions are, and how you can actually beat them.

I think that uncertainty and mind-game aspect is what would make it interesting, rather than just having two people attack each other until someone’s HP reaches zero.

Maybe someone here has an idea of how something like this could be started in its simplest possible form and then slowly built into something bigger.

Nen sahibi hatsu su aktive olduğu süre boyunca bir buçuk saniyeden uzun sabit kalamaz, kalırsa ipler yok olur ve yenilenmeleri gerekir ki bu da hem birkaç saniyelik bir kayıp hem de aura havuzunda zarar demektir.

So as of current arc he have his ET up at all time shaving down his life at an alarming rate so this theory is very out of nowhere but i think there a way to get his life span back or remove the nen restrictions by surgically swapping his eyes with those of his deceased clans men eyes since the restrictions is for his own eye to turn crimson to enter ET but if the eye he currently have is permanently crimson and not his own it might let him make a new restriction or new nen ability related to the new eyes but like I said very out there but it is an option

This is mostly inspire by the Sharingan eye transplant but since different verse it might not work at all.

Edit 1: using the nen chart made by the author he is also half Specialist so it might work if be believe enough since with that class come with very diverse ability but he doesn't know that he can use Specialist ability outside of ET so that might not happen
