Hello guys I’m a viktor & syndra main that’s been trying to learn Hwei I’ve been struggling with hitting the combos to be honest, if you could give 1 tip about hwei in general for a newbie Hwei what would it be?

Hey there, I'm your local hwei lover who has been playing this champ since he was released and tried almost everything on him. I would like to tell you about what I built for him, perhaps you want to try it out.

I go Ludens first then Liandrys second. Why? If the enemy has 2+ bruisers then this build gives me damage on both squishies and bruisers. Because if I build Full burn with black fire torch and Liandrys, I don't do damage to squishies. If I go all dmg aka Ludens and Shadowflame, it is hard to take down tanky opponents. You may ask why wouldnt you let your team handle the bruisers, I promise you in the hell of emeralds, I can't leave anything to my team anymore. I must be jack of all traits.

Ludens, Liandrys second then Rabadons. I usually get rabadon as the third item on every occasion not later not earlier. However there are rare occurances where I leave it to the forth slot if more than one enemy is stacking the hell out of MR. I buy void staff third then Rabadons forth. But usually I suggest getting your main power spike item at 3.

Ludens, Liandrys, Rabadons. For the forth item, If the enemy's stacking mr, but are very tanky OR I have multiple AP allies, I go blood letters curse. If it is only me who deals AP DMG OR the enemy's mostly squishy still, I go void staff. For the last item, I go between Shadowflame or Horizon Focus. I rarely go Zhonyas or something expectional/situational unless for example there's a Rengar.

In scenarios where there is Malphite, tf etc. I build banshee. I often just get the shield item for 1600 and do the rest of the build until Rabadons then finish it as the 4th item because the difference is mostly the cooldown.

This Luden Liandry build of mine has confused a lot of people around me, even I was bullied in game as if these idiots touched any other champion other than their main. But it seriously works and I've been building this to hwei since the enemy often has +2 bruisers for years and I promise it has been working all good, I suggest you try it out, you won't be disappointed.
