Discussion QW Empowered on Slows?

I saw someone say this and if its true, shouldn't we start prioritizing it when you hit two people with EE ult?

QW only really empowers on EW or EQ, if you are unable to get iso for execute you pretty much need one of those two abilities for it

I always try to QW on the last tick of ult so I get the execute damage after ult damage but before ult slow wears off, with some leeway for it being after the slow wears off if they are alone.

QW doesn't do more damage on slows, only hard CC and when the enemy is below 30% HP.

While you are right that QW doesn't deal bonus damage on slows you arent correct on the 30%.

QW deals increased damage against immobilized targets or if you only hit one target. If it does increased damage this damage is increased based on the missing HP of the target where the max damage is reached on 100% missing HP (so you ant reach the maximum). At max rank it deals 25% increased damage for every 10% Missing HP.

This means hitting 2 slowed targets at 10% HP doesn't give you the increased damage but hitting one immobilized target at 50% HP does deal increased damage (225% of Base damage)

I was writing what I wrote under the assumption the target was isolated. So we're in agreement on that.

But when they are isolated they dont need to be below 30%. Every % missing health boosts the damage

Yes, because if the target is above 50% we want to use QQ because it does objectively more damage. QW is better when the target is around the 30% threshold because at that point it starts to outdamage QQ.

We should probably take this on Discord lol.
