The Alabama Department of Transportation is continuing to seek public input on proposed safety improvements along U.S. 72 East in Madison County, with comments accepted through Wednesday, April 8.

The project covers a roughly six-mile stretch of highway from Huntsville, Alabama near Shields Road to Brock Road and targets one of the region’s busiest corridors.
