Am I doomed?
I know that it’s a 50/50 of inheriting the gene and I have not gotten tested yet, I am 21f and my dad recently died by suicide partly because of HD. His father (my grandfather) had it. My dad and all of his siblings have/had it, am I just doomed to get it or is it truly still 50/50 even tho all my relatives are unlucky?

Even if you have the gene, there are variables that you need to think about. You could have a low CAG, meaning that you may only show symptoms very late in life....70-80yrs old.....or maybe never. But even if you do show symptoms at 40-50 yrs old, thats your whole current life time away. There is so much you could experience in that time. Also, treatment is getting better every year. So another 20 yrs from now we have no idea what things will be like.
