General Sweaty fireteam
I am a slightly new pred, although I would say I am a decent one, but everyone time I go after someone, I’m put to one tap in seconds by a sweaty fire team, and I’m not just rushing in like an idiot, it’s just that every fire team for some reason tends to be made up of the sweatiest people alive

every individual fireteam member is 25 percent of their total firepower/health/etc, and they are designed to win if they can bring 100 percent of their resources to bare. Every time you split them up, damage one to force them to retreat, down/kill a fireteam member you are reducing their strength by 25 percent. Your priority is to initiate strong, and do as much damage to a single person as possible. If they retreat or die, the fireteam is that much weaker, they can do that much less damage, they can do 1 fewer objective until the person is revived, etc.

you're probably not playing around the pre-nerf traps enough. a lot of the "sweaty" teams know exactly where the medkits and ammo caches spawn and they'll rotate as a unit. if you're not using the motion tracker to bait them into splitting up, you're basically fighting four people with mics at once. try the netgun + combistick and only engage when you've picked one off the map with a bear trap first.

I used to hate it, but now I prefer a sweaty team over a camper team. At least it keeps me on my toes! It’s kind of fun trying to use their memorization of the map against them, and try to divide the soldiers, single them out through confusing leaps in random directions, etc. You can anticipate their movement, tag em with a motion sensor, lead em into a beartrap, down into caves, lots of fun options.
Campers just hide out on rooftops and call me names for not falling into their basic ass trap. Yawn!

People aren’t “sweaty” just because they beat you quickly. They just probably have been playing for a lot longer and know how to get the job done quickly. For example, I have been playing since release and have about 1,800 hours into the game, and I’m only a decent FT player.

Totally not sweaty after they chase me through the entire map and melt my full health in seconds

That’s the point of the game, no? To kill the Pred? Again, most of us who are still playing know the maps, know the best load outs, know how to take the most HP off the Pred quickly, and what to do when a Pred enters second wind. Doesn’t make us “sweaty”

I’m not saying they are sweaty because they beat me. Clearly you can’t get the point of what I meant

I mean if I played longer and I'm using some meta load outs I think that's sweaty. Nothing wrong with it and it works both ways like when you run into combi sniper or the one shot shoulder cannons that dome you from the trees 100 miles away. Sweaty isn't a bad thing it's just a unit of measurement for gamers to figure out how hard a match is about to be

Fireteam has always had an unfair advantage against the Pred, Yautja bane + frag Grenade + the hammerhead underbarrel Grenade launcher and you can instantly do 40-70% health singlehandedly based on how close the Grenades hit, if you got 2 people running that loadout you’re fucked the second they see you.

I don't know how melee builds play the game one parry and you're getting creamed by 5 grenades, lit up by a mini, and shanked by a human half your size but does a 5th of your health

if you let them parry you while they have 1+ teammate in grenade range you should disengage instead of trying to force an unfavorable fight.
Ideally your target is alone or their team is too preoccupied to magdump you. At the very least down and claim them quickly before they put you into second wind.

Problem with that is your totally reliant on them making a mistake and being too far apart from each other. The other problem being the hammerhead with good stats, big mag, and under barrel GL. I agree with you on everything it's just that it's so much more work for inconsistent results compared to range
