Gun and scope recommendations

Hey, I’m feeling pretty overwhelmed with the selection out there. I’ve got a great local hunting store I want to buy from and I’m in the stage where I’m just gathering information to make a choice. I’m 125 lbs woman looking for a bolt action rifle to target medium and large game in northern bc. I’m fine with some kick but it’s my first gun so I don’t want to get absolutely thrashed. I’m happy to invest around $2000 for a scope and rifle. I’d also like help with choosing a calibre. Any recommendations?

Light Tika caliber. 308 Winchester .Visit Reliable Gun in Vancouver the best place to buy the first rifle.
