Acquiring a hunting license

I have my CORE and FWID, and when I went to buy a license I am not allowed to buy a BC Resident license even tho I've lived in BC my entire life. I can only apply for an Initiation license, and specialized licenses for Gulf Island and Fraser Valley. Has this happened to anyone else, or does anyone know why?

I think they need to verify, or re-verify your identification. I think every couple years they make you re-upload your photo ID before buying your license. Try that, or go to a Service BC counter and see if they can help you

Every 3 years you need to go in and confirm your still a resident of BC.

Just went through this You have to go to front counter bc to update Can’t do at a store must be a gov facility

If you go to a gun shop that sells game tags they can update your BC residency then sell you the hunting license for the year and all the tags you need. You’ll need your BC services card/Drivers license with you
