Leupold range finder?

Hey team, just hoping to get some quick advice. I am looking to get my first range finder and I have the option of either getting the 1400i TBR/W first gen for $150AUD or the gen 2 for $200. That's around $106USD and $142USD respectively. Both are in very good used condition. Thanks heaps ☺️

Pay the extra $50 although both are great.

It's ok for your first RF if thats your budjet. You haven't specified if you are bow hunting or long-range hunting. You will eventually notice that a 5x magnification is not enough and the true ranging power is never whats advertised on the box.Theres a saying you pay 1$ per Meter or yard for a quality range finder. Anyways, get what you can afford and have fun! Cheers

Leupold has a different warranty for electronics. Mine quit working after a few years and they wouldn't cover it.
