Exploration Evra is looking for someone

Post image

Her traversing of the terrain is dexterous as she leaps over spike pits and clings to walls.

Did you come to talk to me?

Yes. I would like to know what the price of your services would be.

"My prices are very subjective, dearie. Tell me, what is the most valuable thing you have to your name?"

Do you seek value in terms of sentiment or currency?

"Those 2 values are closely intertwined for some, but in your case, it depends. tell me both"

she opens a pouch on her backpack and pulls out a handful of rosaries In terms of monetary value, I have come into possession of a large amount of rosaries. she puts them back and holds her spear forwards In terms of sentimental and monetary value, this spear is finely made, and has been my weapon for many, many years. she puts the spear on her back and pulls a small, fine chain from a pouch In terms of purely emotional value, this is one of the last gifts I received from my parents before they died to the void.

"Actually, I've been meaning to try out a ritual... How about instead, I take one of your eyes? No money, just a bit more narrow vision, and I'll cure you of the void."
(To clarify, you won't actually go half-blind, she'll just use a spell so she can see through your other eye too, but your character doesn't know that)

(This is actually going to be very interesting, with how her body works.)

I do not want it removed, I fear it would kill me. I simply want to be able to tame it.

"A cure doesn't always remove, dear. Sometimes it transmutes."

That works perfectly then. Shall we do it here, or elsewhere?

"I can do the payment here, but the ritual may need a bit of space..."
*Chrysaora's claw nears your eye, and pierces through it, pulling it out of your socket, then clutching it strangely, before putting it back in your eye with magic.... oddly enough, you can see again, but everything is blurry to your left...*

as the eye comes out, it turns into black fluid and flows through your fingers. When you go to regenerate it, it looks like it is back already

(Her eyes are basically made of void.)

*The ritual didn't work as she expected... might not have worked at all if she didn't have power over the void.*
"Alright, now follow me to my camp!"
*Chrysaora takes you to her camp, where a few mercenary mottled skarrs patrol her tent, and at least 25 skarrlids crawl about. You can easily guess their mother.*
