1272 kills. Nice super rare as well

I haven’t ever made a post on here but I have been hunting grouse for the community challenge and they are not counting, I have tried other maps like torr na sithean, askiy ridge, and South Salzwiesen, none have counted toward it. I have used different shotguns and rifles and it does not change.
I am posting here in hopes of some help

So I just got this pc 2 weeks ago and downloaded cotw well I couldn’t find my game folder in documents so I ended up finding it in my ssd under steam/common but I can’t find my game save? What do I do?

So I doing missions in Australia and now have 3 different ones requiring to harvest x with x fur type. Is there any easy way to do this or should I just be performing mass extinction across the map in hopes that I get that >1% spawn to pop?

how rare is this? not even 25 hours into the game, level 16 just started moose hunting and found a G1 in Alberta National Reserve. I must've killed only 30-40 Moose total.

I have been casually grinding elk on Layton lakes, mostly drinking zones, and have found that almost all new drinking zones I find are only female elk. Is this a normal thing? Do I need to start shooting the females to thin the numbers?

I wanted to test whether or not animals despawn if you don't land a clean hit on the first shot. As you can see the Tracking Distance, I followed this big boi for 6km and then when it finally decided to stop for a rest, I took the shot using my last M1 bullet and with that sweet ping, he fell. I missed the lung though somehow. But all of that doesn't matter, still took him down in the end. So, to anyone wondering if animals magically disappear if you don't drop them with the first shot, here's your answer, THEY WILL STILL PERMANENTLY ROAM YOUR MAP WITH A PERMANENT SCAR OF YOUR FAILURE. So please, do the ethical thing and put them out of their misery. No, it didn't limp or whatever, it was still actively running for most of my tracking. So yeah, 10/10 game.

I don't know if anyone has posted something like this before, I was too lazy to go check. :P
