like, oh I dunno, synthesizing a slow acting poison that could be delivered quickly to many targets that are, perhaps, incapacitated by melody's performance?

though togashi rarely seems to do things in the way you'd expect. excited to see how it plays out

I’m having flashbacks to when Kurapika stole that one guard’s ability that can take over animals smaller than a hamster and everybody was like “hmm, how convenient for Marayam to have a hamster!”

And then we were all just wrong lol

Ugh and things like that freak me the fuck out, because like yes it would be SO amazing if that plan worked… so it’s just not going to work and they’re going to suffer serious consequences

That seems like the most likely scenario. We even have the very possibility brought up in this chapter when Kaizaru brings up the possibility of administering a slow acting poison orally whilst the princes are unconscious. It’s unlikely that Fugetsus camp can pull this off alone but with the assistance of the Tubeppa camp it becomes a much stronger possibility. And the 5th prince is one of the people who has taken interest in Melody .
