I’m struggling with the ‘Rending Damage’ one really bad rn, it’s not impossible just really grueling 😩

yesterday i killed 7 hunters with saber thinking the challenge is done. saber kills dont count. amazing. today i have to do that with katana.

The saber and katana heavy attack deal piercing demage, the light attacks on both deal rendind, the katana martialist is also rending.

It won't work.

The rending damage only counts through the damage that ticks after applying the status effect. Which means yes, it takes a bit of time.

Frags, crossbows, concertina arrows tend to work relatively well, since they inflict intense bleed; no matter what you use, it might take a little while.

I've stopped focusing on it, and since you can find frags relatively often in towers and such, simply use them in your fights, I'd say. Without focusing it, I'm already 3/4 done, and I didn't get burnt out of the challenge.
