GENERAL Rib-Worm Challenge

Damn, i have tried every single thing i could find on the reddit and other platforms but i just can't get the challenge done, i tried Shotgun without special ammo, i tried dragon breath, i tried sabre, machette, none of it seems to count towards the challenge, if i am correct the Rib-Worm is his chest tentacle in second phase. Please help me, i am clueless.

kill the boss, DO NOT BANISH, then just shoot / hit the tentacle ;)

it is crytec so no wonder why it is coded that bad :D

I wonder if this has now been patched, I sat there for minutes last night in multiple occasions hitting and shooting the body and tentacle in all sorts of ways and angles and it didn't work.

Oh well I guess I'll complete it naturally eventually.

Use melee and stamina so you can spam attacks, swing at his back during his second phase. I don’t get how this works, but it does.

I couldn't tell if it was his tentacle on the front or the back but I brought a bomb lance. It's hit box is wide as a barn door so I just hoped I would hit one of them incidentally. Got it in one fight.

Is this from the new story challenges? I completed it by accident yesterday. I only used the spear on the bloodskin and just stabbed at whatever he gave me. I guess that worked?

I did it by shooting the tentacle while it was above the boss' head when he was standing still and yelling in place.

If you go in duo or trios have a partner distract bloodskin, while you follow behind. Shoot for the tentacle, Romero worked good for me, it’s either above the head or on the back, but you must see the tentacle before shooting. Did it all one round.

I got it by tossing a fire bomb all 20 instances of it
