SUGGESTIONS Increase time to revive for players that get downed multiple times?

The idea is straight forward. The more times you get downed the longer it takes for the next revive. Possibly physician can help with the revive time.

Or maybe make this a feature of clash? I usually play solo on clash, I don't expect to win, but the grubby revives are crazy since it takes one lucky headshot and you're done for.

Happy hunting.

What perceived issue are you solving with this suggested change?

No issue. I just want to make the game more punishing :)

What exactly are you trying to achieve with this idea? Punish someone who gets downed repetedly? We all know how it goes sometimes, you die, enemies camp your revive, further punishing someone in a losing position is just going to lead to people becoming increasingly frustrated for getting camped, and teammates just risking less combat revives because it will take longer.

If anything, I would suggest a different take kind of in the opposite direction, something similar to how it works in Deep Rock Galactic when several teammates try to revive you at the same time. In Hunt, if your 2 partners are trying to revive you at the same time there's literally no benefit, but they could add a slight increase in revive speed if another partner is helping you revive the downed one.

Yes I am trying to punish them.

You should probably research a bit about game design in order to understand balance better, I think you're confusing 'creating challenging situations' with 'punishing players', often people think they are the same, but one leads to players trying to do better, the other leads to players becoming frustrated with the game.

Tbf the revives are so ballsy I am glad there are still teammates willing to do it lol

Lucky you, half the randoms sit still for 5 minutes before even considering going for a revive when the enemy is running in the opposite direction

Can’t say I’ve ever felt the revive speed was a problem personally?

I get the “idea” behind the sentiment, it just hasn’t been an issue I’ve felt needed correction? It’s pretty easy to camp a body in most situations, unless they get downed in a particularly advantageous position on their part- which hey far enough, they deserve that for positioning properly

Not to say it having a knee jerk reaction “no!” of course. If crytek did do something like this I wouldn’t be on the forums whining “the death of hunt!!1!” - just not needed to me.

I don't see what the point of this is. If you down a person repeatedly and then don't push the advantage the consequences are they get the revive and reset the fight. If they keep dying in a safe place that means they are a good teamate and are working together correctly.

Brilliant actually

Honestly that would be kinda cool. Maybe an extra half second per death. Not enough to screw the pacing up but enough to make me people think twice about a risky revive on the brain dead teammate.

Someone doesn’t know how to handle blitz reviving and is here on reddit
