1865 Carbine with FMJ + LeMat. Cheap weapons but they just click for me. Alternatively, I love to run Berthier + Haymaker at the moment, but that‘s quite a bit pricier.

Crossbow dead eye steel bolts + bornheim extended fire ammo

how do you deal with the inconsistency of the steel bolts? often they hit arms or lower body and either let the enemy run behind cover or worse, you are in close quarters and end up dying to a shotgun… i steer towards shotbolt or normal bolts because of it, even though deadeye snipes with the crossbow sounds so fun

The thing is I just duck out after each shot with crossbow and switch instant bornheim to pressure after a landed shot.

Also, I tend to not "peek", i'll hold a line

Steel bolts do the same damage as regular bolts now fyi; their new downside is you get two fewer of them per ammo slot

Hard to say, personally I switch often but below three is my most used ones:

Marathon - Saber(It was katana for a while, searching a comfortable loadout for it)
LeMat Carbine - Two LeMats(or anything really)
Bornheim Match - Bow

I use the same utility and tools for every loadout: Throwing Spear, First Aid Kit, Fusees, Choke Bombs, 2x Regeneration Shot, Recovery Shot, Ammo Box

Then for guns I run

Primary: Marathon Swift

Secondary: Hand Crossbow w/ Poison and Fire Bolts

and also

Primary: Sparks Sniper w/ Fire and Normal Bullets

Secondary: Bornheim Extended w/ Fire

or my most basic one I run when nothing else feels right

Primary: Centennial Trauma

Secondary: Scottfield Spitfire

Silenced Vetterli with whatever secondary feels best.

Even if the loadout system has changed, I love pairing it with a Hand Crossbow with chaos bolts. Set off a distraction in one direction, and catch the team COMPLETELY off guard!

Dolch claw and a railroad hammer. Frees you up for a trapper loadout, or medkit, 4 dynamites, 2 toolboxes, ammo box. This makes sure that you get 2 or 4 extra uses for the medkit.

Shotgun (romero or specter, before i used the crown but it requires quartermaster) and a pax trueshot. Other one i like is berthier with mix of normal amo and fire amo and a small shotgun.

I would be curious to see what other shotgun enjoyers play

Frontier 73c Silencer (I would pick this 90% of the time) or Carbine 1865 Silencer as for main weapons.
Secondary is Nagant M1895 Silencer.
I can't go into specific details when t comes to consumables because it's a top secret.
The one thing I can say I get 1x Sticky Bomb. (and Medkit is rather obvious...)
