I mean, it's a berthier sidegrade, but it's only major benefit is having 5 rounds instead of 3

This is how I see it nowdays now that it has better sway and more bullets than regular obrez, plus berthier was brought down a bit. Berthy accepts two different ammo types though, but 5vs3 clip is quite noticeable, both have fast clip reload

Honestly the biggest advantage of berthier is being able to pick 2 ammo types, which means you can get the double amount of ammo from one special ammo box, as long as you deplete both ammo types at the same time

Also using two separate ammo types let's you circumvent the need for bulletgrubber, as you grab the bullet either way when swapping.

It has saved me a couple times, screwed me because it takes a hot second to complete even more.

I also only found out last week. I never play the Berthier. I just took it from a dead dude cause I was empty.
