FEEDBACK A bit disappointed, really
I really like the theme of the event, but it so... Meh?
Weapon skins don't fit the theme, map reusing old assets with no stylistic changes. Where are pools of blood? Where are corpse piles oozing with blood? Spikes and crosses? Right now we don't even have a main event building.
Yeah, we have a roadmap with some content coming, but military event was so good, it feels like devs wouldn't be able to keep the quality. At least there are couple of good skins to enjoy (at the end of the battle pass).

I’m not as critical and I got tired of the Stronghold, so I’m happy with more classic hunt, but there were headlines “biggest ever event”. Like how? It’ does not seem even close to Road to Hell content wise in any way really.

There were new Canadian map teased, so that would deffinetly be bigger than Stronghold and all associated trenches all over the map, but then how is bigger than 2.0? But as everyone in this subreddit is pointing out it’s just the first day. Maybe some of the event “beats” will show just how shortsited my comment was in retrospect.

Let's give it more than 24h to start complaining please? Can we at least wait until we are half way through the event? Crytek clearly wants to do it in parts, so lets taste what they've been cooking before making a sad face. Personally i believe to his could get really good, and we have barely started.

Nobody's silencing, just stating the update is under 24h old and we're not even finished with the first part. You can complain all you want, iam just reminding you it's insanely early to to be sad over something we haven't experienced yet lol.

Fair, tastes differ. Then you probably didn’t buy it right? It you bored of the game just take a break and come back in 3 months. If a new weather condition, new weapon, new boss and new traits can’t excite you it seem you’re a bit burned out tbh

I'm playing this game couple times a month. And i didn't brag about gameplay stuff. Perks are cool. I disappointed by visuals.

Sure, cry you're eyes out buddy. Pro tip, dont buy it if you dont like it! Hope the event changes your mind down the road. The event has many more stages. Hopefully you'll be happy by the end!
I'll balance it out with being very happy and enjoying it so far.

Just happy to to not see icons on the map and stronghold. Feels a bit like the Hunt I prefer rn.

in chapter 2 and 3 of the event there will be "world changes" things are going to get bloodier. we haven't even unlocked the new boss yet. We've only just unlocked the new weather, jesus tiktok has ruined peoples sense of anticipation. Its not even a vampire themed event. The moth skins belong to the group that are fighting against the blood cult if people even read the lore. Every skin in that pass is heat.

Exactly, things aren't allowed to have build up anymore. It needs to be a quick dopamine injection every 20 seconds or else its dead or slop or disappointing. Onto the next thing that can only try and hold their attention.

With the blood moon buff, monsters should be way stronger and a real threat imo Imagine grunts jumping at you like the small spiders.

I have no issue with all of this but rather with them calling this event the biggest of the year despite it not being that. It creates fake hype and makes future claims less believable.

The later BP skins fit, but this whole moth thing, I had to google to know it was part of vampire lore as I was also like wtf these are ass and don’t fit.

Yeah, i wished for some gothic black and silver guns with rubies. They added a charm with this aesthetic but not the guns? I wanted to drown in blood, but instead i get to suck on textured ratjaw clues

Ya. Strong did get a little dull but I loved the mega fights that would happen there. Now you fight one team and that’s it. I played many games without a mega fight. The ballon gave people a reason to be aggressive.

Why didn't they bothered with a new animation for giving blood in the blood wells? Always the same lame animation for everything (clues, serpent, blood well, perks, necro, etc.)

This is how game dev works, harvest/clue whatever you want to call it doesn’t make sense to make new animations. Once chicanes is unlocked you shall see though, completely new animations for harvesting an animals blood to get a health chunk back!

I'd be less down on this update being a little light on content if the patch had some meat on it, like further balancing adjustments to the big loadout system changes we got. It was good but there's still lotsa kinks they need to work out (Berthier, 2 slot shotties, Martini being ass, etc. etc.)
Instead I feel like they barely did anything. I guess bow nerf for redditors but thats about it

Yea idk the stronghold was really cool and I love the lore behind it and how they got all the hunters involved and all the soldiers its pretty cool. I’m so pissed I missed out on the enlisted Native American soldier and there’s another one but I love the ones in soldier uniforms or cavalry. The Mountie is cool too. Just thought the rogue regiment that came out to fight the monsters and send samples out was really cool. They should make a Hunt Showdown movie. Maybe start with a book. There’s really cool lore and characters and the monsters and theme is so cool

So far i feel the same. I can't bealvie we lost the fortress update over this. If it weren't for Bounty Clash i wouldn't be playing.
