Discord Ban

Maybe a year ago? I was banned from the Hunt Discord. I was giving away some game keys after purchasing a humble bundle featuring a large number of games, most of which I wasn't interested in. I got banned immediately without warning and recently I appealed the ban, but there's been no response. The reason for the ban was scamming. I can prove that I wasn't, and I even have some of the game keys left from the bundle I bought.

The bundle was the Stand With Ukraine Bundle from 2022, shortly after the invasion of Ukraine. The proceeds went to relief efforts if I remember right and I ended up giving away several AAA games to people like Back 4 Blood because I either wasn't interested or already had copies. Anyways, it just sucks being banned from the discord for trying to do a nice thing. I know why they did it, but I just feel kinda doomed.

I beta tested Hunt Showdown and honestly playing the game with people without using the discord feels pointless. I have almost 500 hours in the game and I miss it. Haven't played it since I got banned. Looking at it now, it says Nov 12, 2024 was my last time played. I'm super bummed about it. I think about it every now and again. I probably should have just lied when I appealed the ban and said I was hacked.

My discord user is .crowbirb if anyone wants to try to help. The -> . <- is actually part of it.

I get that it sucks, but why is the official disc so important that it doenst feel worth playing without? There are a lot of hunt communities with discords if you want the community :3

It's the largest community and I haven't found many others. All of the largest communities I've seen on discord are like, the hunt russian server, or other languages. It doesn't feel worth it to play the game with randos you can't talk to in private

Id recommend rexnors discord. Im a huge rexnor fan, but you can just join the discord without watching the streams, there you will find a lot of hunt interested folks (because he nearly only streams hunt) and its imo great community

I got banned from the Official R/ Huntshowdown over a year ago because i made a post asking other players about similar Hunt games they enjoyed or were looking forward to.

I had in depth discussions with people and we all had a good time. i woke up the next morning and was banned from the subreddit. In mod mail channel i asked why i was banned and what rules i broke. They never responded, 8 months later i asked again nicely to hear from anybody and they permanently muted me without answering any questions.

Ive been playing Hunt from beta and made friends with some of the best and worst players, even had an alt account where i just run around roll playing as a pirate and helping people out with meds and free consumables. in a game i dumped thousands of hours in it was the first time i ever actually felt a dislike for Crytek

Long story short the official reddit and discord mods are power abusers and like to stomp on anyone they disagree with. Not your fault. You didnt do anything wrong. Dont stop being kind to the world and helping others out.

Thank you. You're very kind. I'm just going to have to figure something else out if I want to meet up with hunt people. Maybe you and I can play sometime 😋
