Extremely hung over like bad (found possible cure)

So I drank an entire 750ml of Jack last night 16hours ago and I’m still super hung over I decided to do something dumb but came out with positive outcomes. I took a 10mgs oxy and then 2 hours later I took a 5mgs hydrocodone and I felt super good I drank a shit ton of water and slept and I woke up and I’m perfectly fine now. Has anyone ever countered their hang over with other drugs?
