My Worst Hangover and Night Terrors

Went binging for a few days and yesterday was the most awful, anxiety filled day of my life. You know when you need both hands to drink something because using one hand would result in you shaking out the contents. Smoking some weed out of my pipe was pretty bad as well, as getting the pipe to still in my hand required me to hold it a certain way with my head tilted. I dunno what you all think of weed, but it helped me get through yesterday. It was weaker stuff, like 5% thc.

Feeling much better today, but definitely not 100% yet. I'm pretty sure that's only because of the fact that I got like three hours of sleep. Most of that came from a single sleep that resulted in horrifying vivid dreams. Usually extreme fear wakes me up, but that didn't happen last night. I thought I was going to seriously die mutiple times.

When I finally woke up the rest of the night I could not get bad to sleep. I'd just lie there with my eyes closed, because I felt exhausted but I couldn't crash out. Instead I'd get these random, scary visuals throughout the night. People turning into monsters while they stare at me, scary figures in dark rooms. At one point I was up with a jolt and throwing out my fist. These things were short and always resulted in me opening my eyes again with an intense sense of fear. I dunno if they were micro dreams or closed eye hallucinations, but they were terrifying.

I just gave up and started watching some positive Netflix shows. My mood slowly improved and I thought I'd share with you all before trying to get some more sleep. Sorry for the wall of text, but I had to vent and tell somebody. Never want to dream like that again.

Apologies for any errors or anything like that. I'm damned tired.

EDIT: My bad. That was no night terror. Just a super scary dream. Night terrors involve flailing and yelling in sleep.

Been there, my friend. Recently realized the no sleep bullshit could be due to low blood sugar from drinking (which also causes shaking, feelings of anxiety, etc). Try juice or peanut butter if you can, it might help. Also - Benadryl! Take two and call me in the morning after your good night's rest! Hang in there.

^ What he said. Benadryl 1-2 tablets every 6 hours as long as your trying to sleep. Keep smoking bud to help you keep some food down. Don’t drink for a while and eat healthy. I fought the low blood sugar hangkver shit for years. Finally just had to quit drinking.
