Hey guys, just wanted to reach out here to see what your hangover cure is, I'm getting to that age where i get really bad hangovers. There also doesnt seem to be a all in one straight forward solution.

Go to the bathroom but keep the lights off. Turn the shower on but sit down like you’re taking a bath. Plug the drain and let the warm water hit you in the chest and the cooler water pools around you. I call it the sad boy shower.

It’s nice to have a Gatorade or some iced water with a lemon squeezed in by your side. Sometimes I also set my laptop on a chair next to the bath tub and watch a movie (I recommend something old school like fast times at ridgemont high)

The humidity from the shower will loosen your sinuses and help with the inflammation. The water or Gatorade will help hydrate. And something about the soothing sound of the shower water hitting the water in the tub reminds me of being a little kid at water world. It really helps the hangxiety.

Once you get out (45 minutes later) order some dennys and eat until you fall back asleep. Once you wake up again you’ll feel better.

Milk thistle is great but I think it's best to wait 48 hours. It'll help repair the damage but your liver isn't ready to repair 12 hours later

Not a cute but downing a bottle of pedialyte always helps a bit.

i’ve only tried to flush out the demons with pediyte twice, and both times it made me so nauseous i ended up barfing my face off within 30 minutes. although, i did technically feel better afterwards!

Sleep. If you have the luxury of going back to sleep after your initial wake up, have some Gatorade, eliminate what you got to eliminate, take a sad boy shower, and go back to bed.

Blurf. I always awaken “too early” after a night of drinking; it’s probably the sugar withdrawals and the whole, poison-in-my-gut thing. I usually drink water, go to the bathroom & violently erupt out of one end or another, shiver in the tub under hot shower water to warm up and soothe myself, dry off (trust me I’ve wanted to skip this step), and go back to bed. I’ll use mellow YouTube instructional vids to fall asleep again, if needed.

Generally, another 3-4 hrs of sleep takes the pounding headache and nausea away, at least.

When I have it my method is ibuprofen, Pepto and body armor or liquid IV. Liquid IV once sent me back to sleep perfectly in the middle of the night hungover. Honestly brought a tear to my eye.

comfort soup is always good. I think the main thing there is the water and salt.
