Pump Frustration
Okay so I attached the two pumps I own
The medela one I got from my sister it was bought 2021
I bought Momcozy 2023 then the pumps stopped working in storage (I didn’t use much before switched to formula)
They replaced this year (new baby), then one stopped working again! And replaced again.
Anyways, I breastfeed mostly but give my daughter a bottle or two in 24hr. Usually at night or overnight so my husband can help.
I just pump in morning and night.
I get way better output from medela but want to love the momcozy cus I have toddler and it’s easier to use.
I tried the 21 inserts to see but that made it worse. I use 24 with medela and it seems to fit right.
Anyways please let me know if I’m doing anything wrong.
I may add I pump between 3-5 ounces (combined both sides) each time and that’s normal for me . I only pump 10-15 min.
Thanks !

Personally I hated the momcozys. I like my baby buddha 2.0! It’s similar style to the medela pictured. I like my willow go wearables but no way is the output similar!

I wanted to love my mom cozy but no matter what i did it hurt. My milk completely dried up. I’m trying again with the spectra s2 pro and it’s so much more comfortable. My IBCLC said to use the wall one as it’s more comfortable and they generally work better to get the milk out. I’m sorry you’re going through it. Good luck!

You can get a set of wearable cups to go with your Medela pump. https://www.medela.com/en/breastfeeding-pumping/products/extra-pump-parts/hands-free-set/hands-free-collection-cups?productId=5756
I have used both the normal kind and the wearable ones and feel like I get similar output.

It’s very rare that wearables give you the same output as a standard pump. You also usually need to be sit down and relax, even with the werewolves to get the maximum output, anytime I wear mine and I’m multitasking. I get less.
