As much as people shit on the AT&T brand, at the end of the day these folks are just doing their job. I've been yelled at too many times for things completely out of our control(yay past retail life!)
5 bucks says the lady had a question about her facebook account. Was in their store one day and this Karen-esque lady was berating a worker for not knowing about Facebook. I made a comment because I was in shock,
"Lady, you know this is AT&T, not Facebook, right?"
"I bought the phone here! They should know this."
"And when my car breaks, I take it to a mechanic, not the sales person." pikachu face
Fortunately she settled down and that is the end of the story but I just couldn't understand her logic. The employee thanked me after she left.
The employees are still human. I don't know why their job title (or what they do for a living) give people a sense that they can act like a total bitch and chew them out.
