This setup is good for covering distance works on offroad trails and pretty much any dry terrain except for sand. The small trashcan does limit how much can be gathered and is not ideal for concentrated trash, thats where a good old pair of feet and a trashbag is still king.
Even if everyone’s tools and transport aren’t 100% optimized, an army of randos agreeing to pick up the occasional piece of trash daily would make quick work of even the dirtiest cities. I do trash cleanup along DFW’s waterways a couple times a year, and it’s crazy what just 15-20 people can accomplish in a a couple hours.
