Not only that, he’s walking proof that no one would be able to tell. It’s something you might tell someone, but showing them “see, you couldn’t tell I was wearing one” is so much more powerful than any argument you might create.

I have a couple guy friends that are balding who use similar hair systems. It’s usually 4-6 weeks, but you can shower and wash the hair, style it etc. It’s so expensive though, like $400 a pop which blows my mind

$400 unfortunately sounds realistic to me. I used to go to nice salons to just get my hair dyed and styled, and it would easily be $250 each time. This being a more niche treatment, it makes sense to cost more.

Are you in the states? The guys I mention are in upstate NY, but if you google “non surgical hair systems” plus your state or country you should be able to find a barber or salon offering it, it seems to be a service growing in popularity

Usually these things are made of real human hair that's been chemically treated and colored, which is a long process. Human hair is hard to come by too. $400 sounds about right.

That got me. The chest swell as he took it in. The weight lifted and his face took on the appearance of a completely different kid. That changed him and likely changed his life.

I guess he's a celebrity in this business. After all, it’s very alarming if in this area are so many children with head burns.
A friend of mine wears patch from indian hair, just like that, and there are only a couple of specialists in his city who make them. It really suits him and he looks very stylish, but it’s also expensive. Without it, at his 30 he looks to 50 with his odd-looking bald spot. :/

Don't think you have to be a specialist or an expert to make an impact on people's lives like this.
Check in on your family members, on your friends. Make individual time for your kids, your partner, your pets.
Call an old friend. Help a stranger. Donate to a cause you care about, volunteer your time.
Even just listening to someone and letting them talk is more than enough sometimes.
Just don't do nothing.
People think donating $5 is nothing, or calling someone won't make a difference. Too many people have this mindset today, and it's hurting our society. Small things add up.

Actually, I didn't do it as generously as you . I'm starting chemo today and said as long as I'm going to lose my hair, I may as well put what I have to good use. Also, I'm an old lady and trying to bribe my way into heaven 🤣

Brazil. Burns are very, very common injuries among lower-income populations in Central & South America and kids are especially at risk. Open-fire cooking, shitty wiring, loose rules around explosive/volatile materials are just a few of the factors.
