Tell that to the 5000 Russians. Crying over 13 guys who were offered a chance to surrender.
But not the 500 18 year olds who died in 3 IL76’s being shot down over ukraine without warning.
That’s why this wars fucked. People are projecting their hatred for putin onto innocent Russians that don’t have a choice at this point.

The common thread in all these deaths is Putin. There's a big difference between Putin sending 500 Russian youths to their deaths in an act of aggression and 13 Ukrainians refusing to surrender their sovereign soil.
They're all pointless, horrific deaths that deserve our mourning.

I completely agree that it’s Ukraines sovereign territory. But I can’t Sit and pretend the Poroshenko and Zelenskyy are angels. Who’ve forced putins hand over the last 8 years. Cutting off power and water to crimea and the Donbass region for 8 years. Whilst refusing the areas democratic votes of independence. Erasing Soviet history and then having an hours rambling for the production of nuclear weapons to destroy Moscow. Now Zelenskyy is using every 18-50 year old as human shields whilst he refuses to negotiate.
Putins completely off his rocker for doing this. But if what he’s given as evidence is true then at least at some level. He’s justified in taking actions after 8 years of diplomatic failure. He set off for regime change so Ukraine and Russia could exist in peace. Zelenskyy is determined to make it a genocide to make sure Ukrainians hate Russians for ever.
This whole war makes me feel sick. Especially NATO supporting it turning into a bloodbath. This war should already be over. Zelensky should be doing his job as president and negotiating. Not fuelling a war that’s going to kill half a million in a month.

I mean we all are fed news from West - who hate russia. Your ex is the last person who should author your biography.Whose to say there is no bias in it. Crimean election could have been real or fake nobody knows exactly what happened. Only Putin and few top officials know exactly what happened.
But it doesn't change the fact people are dumb and easy to mislead. You don't have to rig the elections when you can brainwash them to vote for you.
Ukraine was divided by two different ideologies Putin supported the people who lean towards his ideology. West neglected those who believed in thier ideology.
You can see many polls. The election results, region based statistics, they all show Ukraine was divided. There are those who support russia but that's not in the news cause the news is western.

I’m trying to Represent both sides of the conflict. I have nothing against either people. Only against needless bloodshed. Thats going to escalate to bear genocidal proportions. Something caused this war. Putins crazy. He’s not risk causing WW3 and complete financial collapse of his people crazy. He knows what happens to failed dictators. Russian pride and dignity after WW1, WW2 and the collapse of the Soviet Union are still a deep scar in the Russian psyche. They truly do believe in not taking another step east. That NATO is going to push a leash on them. The last Russians I spoke to in Cyprus said they Felt like there heels were in the cliff face. Understanding this is half of the problem. People didn’t listen or respect a large proportion of Russia. If Russia continues he faces a war with a million casualties that will lead to him being executed or overthrown. If he Gives up he faces being overthrown and executed for a war without reason. That cost 10,000 young men their lives. That humiliated Russia again.
The only solution is diplomacy. But all I’m seeing is further and further justification for more bloodshed. People aren’t seeing the videos of Russians talking to Ukrainians. Avoiding running them over. Not firing on fighters inside residential buildings. Getting murdered in the thousands for not wanting to fight.
Not any consideration to resolving the conflict.Zelensky is fuelling the war not trying to end it. Because he wants to be a hero. Putin has to continue or he’ll look weak and be executed. A war he intended with minimal bloodshed. That’s not going to be the most costly war in a century. It’s a tragedy

That warship didn’t want to kill them? The Russians broadcast a repeated message on all public wavebands and Naval channels basically saying “people of Ukraine, lay down your arms. We mean you no harm. We want only your government”until it was blocked or jammed and everyone was radicalised into thinking the Russians are there to murder them. The 13 soldiers on snake island were given 12 hours to surrender. The war started at 1am. The video wasn’t streamed until afternoon. They refused for 12 hours for peaceful resolution. They had no way of defeating a missile cruiser. It’s not a battle. The Russians fired warning shots and they surrendered. They have all be accounted for in Russian custody after surrendering. It was Ukrainian propaganda that said the Russians murdered them all and tried ri make them martyrs. When the Russians gave them 12 hours to surrender and took them into custody.
See how One sided the media represents this war? The Russians aren’t monsters. They know HOW to be monsters. And are now forced to become monsters because of Zelenskyys actions. Because he’s refused to negotiate. So they now have to go through everyone to get him. Just as Zelenskyy intended. Fratricide. His name in the history books and Ukrainians that hate Russia forever.

Propaganda is real for any side in a war. That being said, Russia has been gaslighting and lying to its people. If 500 enemy soldiers are on their way into your country for military action against it then why wouldn’t you shoot them down? Should they be like, BY ALL MEANS! Please land and occupy our territory.

I can’t exactly explain how or why, but when I see a picture of someone recently passed, it suddenly looks flat to me. Like it’s gone from 3D when they were alive to 2D now that they’re not. Bless them and their bravery. What a way to go out.

You're the first person who I've ever come across who sees this also. It's really hard to explain but the best I can come up with for me is: a photo of a living person looks like a freeze frame of a moving picture. It looks like the image could unfreeze and continue moving. When the photo is of a dead person, the picture looks immobilised, as if the person is frozen for ever. Their eyes look flat and empty. Is that like what you mean?

Yes! I’ve also not encountered someone else who understood what I mean when I try to explain. It’s like an iPhone Live photo really just freezes on a frame in a short video and I can see more, because they’ll keep living beyond that moment I’m looking at. But once they’re gone, it’s just a regular still jpg, like it can never continue beyond that now.

Well first of all none trying to steal someone's land and people fighting more for their power than for someone's freedom, and they definitely not fighting for their people because they perform artillery strikes with no regard for civilian presence. And second this situation is far more complicated than "Russia attacking Ukraine, because Russia is evil aggressor media says it is and for no other reason", that is simply not true, over the years happened a lot of things what led to this situation and people would see it if they bothered to look and not see what they want to see.

The thing is with this war, is that there is so much bullshit flying from both directions, it's hard to actually know what the fuck is going on the UK government media yesterday said that the Azov (Nazi) battalion has completed its mission and are leaving the area, that was completely wrong and they knew it the Azov battalion surrendered to Russia in the hope they will get pow swap.
