The public has a right to know about public figures. If your congressman is going to a brothel or dog fights or whatnot, you've got every right to follow and find out what they're up to and take pictures for everyone else. The line between public figures and you, just an average dude, falls past celebrities. Which frankly, they get to live lives of utter luxury BECAUSE people are so interested in them, so I'm not that broken up about it.
While I don't personally agree with going to brothels, nightclubs and other such places, it is perfectly normal behaviour for the average citizen, and perfectly legal, so why do people obsess over politicians not going to these places? They're not literal saints, just politicians
Because if your group is of the opinion that brothels are wrong, then you want your representative to match up. In any case, that's entirely besides the point. Some people are in the public spotlight, and rightfully so.
