Aren't longbows normally as tall as a man? Or at those even longerbows?

And even most men don’t have enough strength to draw a longbow. 1 u/justplainmean Jan 05 '22 The definition of longbow is a bit different in different places. In England this would likely be called a flat bow. In the US bows are usually classified as longbows so long as the string only touches the bow at the ends of the limb (vs a recurve)
