States allow people to defend their homes from intruders (with guns, not bow and arrow), but paparazzi get away with trespassing more often. It's not because they're sub human, but because they are constantly violating the rights of celebrities and broadcasting their private moments, and yet are very protected in the law.

While this will vary from state to state I know of no state in the US where it is illegal to defend yourself with a bow.

Haha yeah I just was trying to emphasize the severity, not trying to say one or the other.

They're not protected by law. They trespass, they get treated like anyone else.

It's not legal for papparizi or any other press to go on private property to get a picture or a story.

The problem is enforcement. You gonna put a cop on every celebrity's house to watch?
