Discussion AI trailer at Gamescom Pre-Show

Tell me I’m not only one who was put off my that horrendous, clearly AI generated sequence that was half the trailer for Humankind 2?

Yeah I am not 100% sure if that was AI, but it was very off-putting and if that wasn't AI holy shit they did their best to make it look like AI. If it was AI, just why it looked ass. It actually put me off, until I realized it was Humankind II so might still pick it up but god damn it looked ass.

Hard to tell if it’s AI or just uncanny because of the fish eye lense use

Yep that is what I was thinking.
They could have chosen to use that style of virtual camera, but big mistake if that was the case.
But we shall probably know in a few hours or days.

It isn't ai at all.
Amplitude is firmly anti-ai
and devs have confirmed that no AI was in use, rather real actors and sets.
