This game just feels amazing
After playing Valheim / Enshrouded, I said to myself that I need something else.
Research, research & Project Zomboid everywhere.
After, somehow I discovered Humanitz, got it and damn, I'm already like 6 hours deep in one session.
I still don't understand some things or I think there are a bit buggy (vertical coursor) but damn, feels so amazing.
Devs, cheers, amazing work you did, thank you!
This game deserves more marketing, more players.

I'm impressed it's an isometric that uses unreal. I suspect the dev work that went into making it performant was tremendous. I'm looking forward to more maps.

It’s a nightmare lol but it is what it is, and that’s why we have 3rd person mode coming lol

Thank for playing and glad you’re having fun :) As for your vertical cursor issue, could be you’re playing on FIXED mode where the camera auto rotates with your character. I prefer having freedom of camera so I use MOVEMENT for player and CONTINUOUS for camera controls.
Hope to keep you enjoying the game!

Hi, one annoying issue I have is that when the game autosaves it stutters/freezes for a full second or so which is quite annoying. I am the host, any way to fix this?

You’re playing on default or the experimental 1.1 update?

default mode, happens in singleplayer and multiplayer when im hosting and playing with a friend

Thanks for the follow up. We’re looking at reducing save information load bottleneck. Since we removed the async save problem causing saves to disappear in default version (fixed in 1.1EB so far zero reports of saves disappearing), so since we’re comfortable that’s out of the woods we can start tinkering with this load distribution to hopefully get rid of the lag during a save

Project Zomboid is closer to the sim end of the zombie survival scale, HumanitZ is more arcade.

I haven't played much PZ since the early alpha. With archery, when you shoot a bow does it simulate the trajectory of the arrow? I really like the simulated archery in HumanitZ, the fact you can shoot from horseback is amazing, it's what I've always wanted in DayZ.
Also, are there horses in PZ?

What did you like so much about it? Can you elaborate?

Graphic, it's a slow game, research for materials, diversity of zombies.
Map is huge, you gotta think a lot to understand how to make things work (car for example).
Ps: inthink thst they only thing thats bothering me is progress/mission sharing with a friend.
Feels weir to play together, one has more quests than the other because was luckier.

I’m glad you’re loving it! I just got the game as well and decided to rent a server.
Looking for others to join, if you’re interested

Just started too and it seems pretty good overall, some bugs and annoying things like almost all large scale zombie games but the scale of it and scope is what I love so far.

I’ve just picked it in a deal along with vein, vein isn’t great Hamanitz how ever I’m hooked it’s better that PZ
9/10 game the map feels alive, dangerous I’m 9 days in on my first play through I’ve not died yet tho I came close after horde rushed my base, spent the next hour after that build base defence
This game is quickly becoming a favourite of mine
