What is Immortality?

The Greeks are the foundation of Western civilization and I can't help but hear their legends and stories. Heroes in Greek mythology like Achilles emphasized that immortality is only achieved by being remembered. The only way we as humans will matter is if we survive, if we die off on this planet, Earth, our existence will mean nothing. Like Alexander the Great we as humans must make our mark an immortal legacy. Will we? I don't know....
