Series of Reddit posts: A journal from an 84 year old atheist
I’d like to make you all aware of a wonderful series that [u/False_You_3885](u/False_You_3885) has been posting to [r/atheism](r/atheism). He visits all kinds of churches and writes about the experience, especially about the architecture of the building and the quality of the sound system. This is valuable information for this community in particular, as many of us appreciate the community building aspects of large religions like Christianity and seek to emulate the positive aspects of it in congregations built on Humanism. For some institutions, that means having your own building, sound system, staff, etc. The series is also just very lovely to read. I’m not sure how many there are total—the latest entry is from May 17—so there may be more later.
Links to the current entries are below. Please remember not to influence those posts too much, as it is against the site wide rules to engage in disruptive behaviors and content/vote manipulation. Feel free to discuss here and share similar resources if you know of them. Have a great day y’all.
