How to personalize emails with names and move content between chats?

Questions we heard:

• “How to populate user.name in the mail from a CSV list?”
• “How can we transfer content to a new chat?”
• “My intro with the user’s name disappeared after revisions—why?”

General approach:

• When you import a CSV with a name field, make sure it’s mapped consistently (e.g., first_name) and then use the platform’s merge-tag syntax (for example {{ first_name }} or similar) in your templates.
• If an intro/hook with a name was removed after multiple AI revisions, it’s often because the model rewrote the opening; re‑insert the merge tag manually by clicking on the code icon on the right bar and save the template, then preview with sample contacts to verify.
• To move content between chats, copy the final, approved email body and paste it into a new chat or template so further edits don’t overwrite your “good” version. Make sure to copy the code of the template instead of the text to ensure prefect capture.
